 | RARE ADORABLE IDEAL DOLL, 1951 TRILBY 3 FACED DOLL Trilby is one of the Rarest dolls to find, have only seen one in the 12 years of dealing with dolls and this is her. Hate to part with her, but now that I am caring for my grandson, will be selling her to a Collector who loves Ideal dolls. She came as she is shown in the pic, and she is not even listed in the Ideal doll book with a pic, so do not know her original clothing. She was a gimmick doll by Ideal, a three headed doll (the head will rotate on an axis with three faces, one smiling, one crying and one sleeping. The first of these was Soozie Smiles in composition 1923, then they designed Trilby 1951 in vinyl with stuffed body. This Trilby has been played with , her hood is torn, her outfit faded and dusty. you may want to dress her up. Her stuffed body is dirty, and her left arm stuffing is shredded, she will have to be fixed up, have pics to add here, and she has a brown mark right by her eyebrow on her one face.
